The supply chain includes a set of factors and organizations that were involved (service), from the beginning, in production next in consumption and finally in the reproduction cycle of products. The sustainable supply chain, along by the chain, puts emphasis on the three social, environmental and economic aspects.
The current research has been investigated the impact of technological innovation on the sustainable supply chain indicators. This study, in the terms of purpose, is practical, and first it has been identified the indicators by studying the previous literatures. Then, a questionnaire has been prepared in order to evaluate the relationship among indicators. The statistical population consists of the 79 experts and experienced people who are familiar with the mechanism of the manufacturing and service companies. The data analysis has been performed by PLS software using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques.
The findings indicate that the technological innovation has significant impact on the social, environmental and economic performance of the supply chain. In addition, the activity type of company does not moderate the relationship of the technological innovation with the social, environmental and economic performance of the supply chain.
